Rev. Kim Lesley, vocals, harmonium & percussion is a professional musician, songwriter and an ordained Interfaith Minister, offering Kirtan for over 33 years in NYC at multiple yoga and spiritual healing centers. This has included singing and drumming in Gaura Vani and Jahnavi Harrison’s bands. In earlier years, she has toured and recorded with Sting, Paul Young and Jools Holland. She has attended Kirtan for 33 years at Shri Shri Radha Govinda Temple BK, Siddha Yoga and Ananda Ashram. Rev. Kim, Jenni and friends have kept Kirtan alive for over 3 years every Wednesday evening at Ananda Ashram.
Priestess Jenni Shanti is a singer-songwriter and dedicated ceremonial weaver, who has spent the majority of her life immersed in music and prayer. The Siddha Yoga Ashram and Ananda Ashram laid the foundation for her spiritual path. Rooted in indigenous wisdom and inspired by global traditions, her work blends Sanskrit prayer, sacred ikaros, and interfaith mantra—creating heart-centered spaces for pause, presence, and connection.
Ananda Ashram is a yoga and meditation retreat dedicated to inner transformation through meditative understanding. Nestled in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, it offers a peaceful sanctuary for reflection, nature, and contemplative practice.
