Sarah Tomlinson is a longtime yogini who was introduced to Ananda Ashram in the 1990s by her first yoga teachers, David Life and Sharon Gannon. She then studied Yantra painting in India with Harish Johari and continues her journey with yoga and Ayurveda today. Now a mother of two, Sarah offers guidance and support to women in all stages of motherhood. She has studied Ma Yoga prenatal yoga extensively with Mia Borgatta and is mentoring in Birth Arts Doula Work with Mavis Gewant. Sarah maintains a private practice in New York and Southern California.

Danielle (Sita) Gault has a degree in Psychology and a post-graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. She combines her Western education with an Eastern interest in Yoga and is a certified member of the Federation of Ontario Yoga Teachers. Her Yoga certificates were earned at the Yoga Centre Toronto and through her Guru, Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati. Danielle has over thirty years experience in the training and development field and is the author of three books on Yoga and the natural healing arts.

Andrea Brachfeld (Kala Devi) began studying the flute in childhood. A graduate of The High School of Music and Art and Manhattan School of Music, she is well established internationally as a Latin Jazz flutist. Andrea has recorded more than a dozen CDs with well-known artists and is recipient of the "Pionero" and Chico OʼFarrill awards. Currently she leads the band Phoenix Rising. Andrea also practiced Yoga and meditation from a young age, which helped her realize that her purpose in life was to share her music by playing the flute to heal herself and others.

Shrimati Kankana Banerjee is a well-known classical Indian singer. Born in Kolkata, she first studied Hindustani music with her mother. As a child she was introduced to the renowned vocalist Ustad Amir Khan of Indore, from whom she received intensive training during her formative years. She gave her first performance at age 14. Later, Kankana also studied with Pt. Pratap Narain of the Mewati Gharana. She has performed regularly at major Indian venues and internationally and has released a number of independent recordings.

Jules Febre was born and raised in the Lower East Side, NYC, and has been practicing Jivamukti Yoga since the age of six. He assists Jivamukti co-founders Sharon Gannon and David Life and teaches around the world. Currently, he teaches at Jivamukti NYC. Jules has also taught in the New York City public school system and at homeless shelters in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Julie Kirkpatrick was granted an Advanced Jivamukti Yoga teacher certification in 2005 by the founders of the method, Sri Sharon Gannon and Sri David Life. She has been their student since they began teaching in New York City in 1986. Her association with Jivamukti Yoga has allowed her to teach abroad in Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, and Turkey, as well as in the United States in New York, Virginia, Michigan, Florida, and Ohio. Julie incorporates meditation, Yoga scriptures and inspirational music along with the asana practice.

Laraaji Nadananda is an internationally recognized recording artist best known for his specially designed electric zither, his vocal performances and his new music improvisation. He also uses the African Mbire, synthesizers, hand drums, percussion and Tibetan gong. He has presented concerts and laughter "playshops" for the global community since 1978, especially in Europe, Asia and the United States. A regular and much appreciated contributor to Ananda Ashram programs since 1980, he received special initiation from Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati.

Elaine Silver is an award-winning and critically acclaimed folksinger, touring musician and recording artist. She has performed in concert at colleges, festivals, churches, clubs and children's events throughout North America and Europe and is the recipient of a Garden State Music Award for Outstanding Folk Performer. Elaine has appeared in concert with Arlo Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Doc Watson, Tom Paxton, Suzanne Vega and many others.

Acharya Roop Verma was an internationally respected sitarist, composer and teacher of Indian classical and sacred music, meditation and Nada Yoga philosophy. He was formally trained in the oral tradition under highly revered teachers of our time: maestros Ali Akbar Khan and Ravi Shankar, Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati and Swami Shyam of the Himalayas. Acharya Roop Verma performed and taught widely in Europe, North and South America, India and Northern Africa and conducted Nada Yoga intensive retreats internationally.
