When Jesus was asked what the greatest command of the (Jewish) Law is, his response included to love the Absolute and love your neighbor. But what does it mean to genuinely live these precepts in practical, everyday ways? The workshop will explore this question and more. Attention will be given to examining the context of the precepts: for example, what does "neighbor" mean in Biblical terms? The workshop will also look at how these pillars of Christianity are reflected in other spiritual traditions, including Yoga-Vedanta.
