Tuition $25 per 2-hr class
In these workshops, students explore special topics of raga (melody) and tala (rhythm) and their expressive potential on the Sitar. Compositions and improvisation are taught in the style of Acharya Roop Verma by one of his senior students, Tomek Regulski. Participants receive individual guidance on proper technique, take part in analytical listening, and discuss the elements of good practice. Suitable for beginning and intermediate Sitar students.
