Stephanie Rooker, founder of Voice Journey Sound Center in Brooklyn, NY, is a vocalist, composer, voice teacher and sound healing facilitator with a background in ethnomusicology and Western Classical, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, and North Indian vocal traditions. She developed Voice Journey®, an accessible approach to empowering the voice for people of all backgrounds, combining healthy vocal technique with principles of deep listening, somatic awareness and sound healing.
