This full moon day in the Indian lunar calendar is dedicated to the celebration of the Guru, referring to both the personal form of the teacher and the impersonal one, the inner guiding light in all.
This year’s Guru Purnima celebration is in special honor of Ananda Ashram’s Founder and Guru, Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati, since 2023 is his birth centennial year. (His 100th Birthday was celebrated on March 6th.)
