"Janaka" Jack Daly was introduced to beekeeping while attending Sunbridge College (Chestnut Ridge, NY) to become a Waldorf Teacher. His first beekeeping experiences were with Gunther Hauk, former Director of the Pfeiffer Center and author of Toward Saving the Honey Bee, Queen of the Sun and The Vanishing of the Bees. Jack's greatest interest is in breeding a mite-resistant honeybee.
