Calendar of Events

For Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and others in the Civil Rights Movement, their call to action lay in the spiritual teachings of Jesus. And many regard the Sermon on the Mount as embodying the key guiding principles Jesus taught. This interactive workshop will explore how these principles formed the foundation of the Nonviolence movement in America. They will be compared with Gandhi’s Satyagraha approach, which is based in similar principles found in Yoga-Vedanta.
