* Kenopanishad (Int./Adv. Sanskrit Course) with Prof. Ram Karan Sharma
Bio: Prof. Ram Karan Sharma

Mon-Fri only. Tuition: 2-week Course $300 (single class $30). Study materials included.

The ancient text called Kenopanishad is counted second in the enumeration of the Upanishads, which are the original source of all Vedanta philosophy. The word Kena constituting the title of this scripture means "By whom?" That is to say: by whom has this entire physical and intellectual world been activated? The answer given can be felt and realized only, it cannot be adequately put into words. "Those who think they know It, do not know. It is those who think they do not know that know It." Yet, this small Upanishad presents the basic question and the basic answer relating to the basic principle of Vedanta.

Policy Note: Participants in summer courses of 1 week or longer who contribute 6 hours/week of Ashram service will receive a 25% reduction on their overnight guest rate.
