This class introduces the fundamentals of the classical Indian music system (raga) as well as devotional songs (bhajans), chanting (kirtan) and the philosophy and awareness of singing in correct tone. Deepak guides students in meditative vocal exercises exploring raga and compositions and in use of the tamboura as a drone for the voice. This class will help to perfect your voice no matter what your singing style is. For students of all levels.
