This 7-day course in classical North Indian vocal music begins with a weekend introductory section which may be taken independently. It is based on the Kirana School of masters of sacred music in the lineage of the legendary Ustad Amir Khan. Kankana Banerjee has inherited the sublime and spiritual elements of this music and conveys that in a most uplifting and joyful way in her classes. Policy Note: Participants in summer courses of 1 week or longer who contribute 6 hours/week of Ashram service will receive a 25% reduction on their overnight guest rate.
