Mitali Banerjee Bhawmik

was trained in Hindustani classical vocal music under Shree Ajit Dutta, Shree Biren Phukan and Smt. Meera Banerjee, and was under the tutelage of Violin maestro Padmabhushan Pandit V. G. Jog. She also received training in semiclassical music from Smt. Dahlia Rahut. Mitali has performed in concerts in India, the U.S.A. and the UK. She is the director of Ethnomedia Music Studio in New Jersey, teaching Hindustani classical music. Along with her students she has won the prestigious New Jersey Council of the Arts grant for four years.
