Karttikeya

Karttikeya is a composer and multi-instrumentalist. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, he served and studied for years with Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami. During that time he discovered his affinity for Vedic mantra chanting. Currently, he accompanies many of today's popular Kirtan artists. In his own Kirtan, Karttikeya creates a compelling blend of the ancient and the modern, weaving the South Indian Naal drum, djembe drum and percussion together with ambient keyboard drones while leading original and traditional chants.
