has been engaged in the practice of Bhakti-Yoga and Kirtan (devotional singing) since she met her Guru A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami in 1967. As a devotee of Radha-Krishna, she lived in India from 1974 until 1979 and spent much time in Vrindavana and in Mayapur (West Bengal), prominent centers of the Kirtan movement. Arundhati plays harmonium and mridanga(drums)and continues doing Kirtan wherever she lives or travels. She is known internationally for her ecstatic and moving chants.
