Anupama Bhagwat

began her training in classical Indian sitar music in childhood. She is a disciple of the distinguished Pandit Shri Bimalendu Mukherjee of the "Imdadkhani Gharana," a school known for its fluency as well as virtuosity. Specialized in the melodious gayaki style of playing, Anupama has performed at many prestigious festivals, has received various honors and grants, and performs and teaches internationally. She holds an M.A. in Music and a B.Sc. in Mathematics.
