Ikhlaq Hussain

is a creative classical Indian musician and sitar player who hails from the Delhi Gharana. He was taught by his father Ustad Imdad Hussain, an internationally known sitar master, and also studied with the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar. Based in the United States, Ikhlaq tours extensively and has performed in many countries including India. He has also created and composed music for a quartet consisting of sitar, tabla, piano and saxophone.
