has been a professional sitarist for almost 30 years. He started learning Indian classical music at the age of eleven. From 1984 to 1994, he taught Sitar at the Manipur State Government Music College, Imphal, during which time he performed widely including on All-India Television. For the last ten years, his artistic career has continued in the U.S.
