is a percussionist, ektara and tamboura player as well as a kirtan singer in the NYC area. A practitioner of sacred healing sound, he is interested in a wide range of global music including interfaith chants, trance and gospel. Damaru has performed with many well-known kirtan musicians and has accompanied the internationally known Bhagavan Das on percussion for many years.
