comes from a family distinguished in the sphere of arts and music. A disciple of the renowned painter Shri M.R. Acharekar, she has produced a wide variety of paintings, mostly in oil and watercolor mediums, and uses an innovative tube painting technique. Her themes include portraits of spiritual masters and mystics as well as subjects from mythology and nature. Her work has been shown in four major exhibits and is treasured in many collections. Smt. Kaur lives in Mumbai, India, with her husband, music master Shri Mohinderjit Singh, and family.
