Aqeel Bhatti

was born to a musical family in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He and his father are both disciples of the well-known Tabla master Ustad Khalipha Irshad Ali of the Punjab Gharana. Aqeel began performing in concert and on national television in his youth. He now resides in the United States where he has been performing since 2000.
