K. V. Mahabala

began his studies of sitar with Shri Yoga Narasimha of Mysore, India, and continued at the Gandharva Maha Vidyalaya Musical Institute in New Dehli with Pandit Uma Shankar Mishra. Since his arrival in the United States in 1992, K.V. Mahabala has furthered his studies with Shri Kinnar Kumar Seen, Pt. Krishna Bhatt and Pt. Barun Kumar Pal.
