If Ananda Ashram cancels a program connected to your stay,
you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel up to 7 days prior to your stay, a refund will be
issued, less a $50 administration fee.

A non-refundable credit will be issued if you cancel less than 7 days but more than 2 days prior to your stay (less a $50 administration fee).

The non-refundable credit will be held on account for up to six months.

If you cancel within 48 hours prior to your stay, no refund or credit will be issued.

A discount is available for students with a valid Student ID, which must be emailed (ananda@anandaashram.org) or faxed (845)774-7368 to the office. After sending your ID please call the office to receive your discount code.

A discount is available for seniors (age 62+). Please call the office to receive your discount code. Upon check-in, please show your ID.

Guests cannot reserve to stay longer than one month without approval from Management.

Tuition fees for classes and workshops (other than the Ashram Core Program) are additional to the overnight guest rate and are charged separately.  It is necessary to call the office in advance at (845) 782-5575 to register for workshops, retreats and courses of 1 full day or longer.

The Yoga Society of New York, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
tax-exempt organization. All donations are tax deductible to the
extent permitted by law.

The use or possession of alcohol and illegal drugs is prohibited.

Smoking is prohibited inside buildings. When outdoors, do not smoke near any of our guest buildings or program spaces; avoid public areas.

Only vegetarian food is allowed on the premises (no meat, fish or fowl.) Do not bring and/or consume non-vegetarian food on Ashram premises.

Pets are not permitted on Ashram property (except in special cases, only by prior arrangement).

It is not permitted to burn candles or incense in guest rooms.

No health treatments or consultations are to be conducted by anyone in any of the Ashram’s guest facilities (including tents). This refers to all healing modalities, whether physical, mental or spiritual.

Please be advised that the Ashram does not have the facilities and staff to provide medical care.

The swimming pool (open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day) is available for overnight guests and members of the Yoga Society of New York, Inc. Proper swim attire is required. Swimming in the pool is at your own risk.

Parents are fully responsible for supervising their children at all times. (Daycare is not available.)

Guests agree to reimburse Ananda Ashram (Yoga Society of New York, Inc.) for any damages incurred by them or their children during their stay.

Anyone willfully disturbing the peace and the Ashram atmosphere may be requested to leave.
