In these monthly classes, students explore the fundamentals of raga (melody) and tala (rhythm) and their expressive potential on the Sitar. Compositions and improvisation are taught in the style of Acharya Roop Verma by one of his senior students, Tomek Regulski. Participants receive individual guidance on proper technique, take part in analytical listening, and discuss the elements of good practice. This class is suitable for beginning and intermediate Sitar students.
