Arjun Verma, son of Acharya Roop Verma, will lead a mixed-instruments workshop in North Indian Classical Music covering both technical and musical repertoire development. All instruments are welcome as long as students have a basic ability to play their instrument. Participants will learn foundational concepts of multiple ragas (melodic forms) as well as talas (rhythmic forms) and develop a basic grasp of a range of musical repertoire within this tradition.
