Merav Ben-Horin is a yoga instructor, yoga therapist and psychotherapist based in New York City. She began practicing yoga in 2004 alongside her studies in psychology. Merav recognizes yoga as a tool to develop mind-body awareness and focus and strives to offer a safe, non-judgmental environment in her classes. As a psychotherapist, she works with groups and individuals who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety and substance abuse, combining yogic principles with talk therapy.
